Heat continues in the Southeast
Variations from normal for this morning's minimum temperatures (above) and today's maximum temps (below) BoM
Early season heatwave conditions continued across much of South Australia, and western NSW and Victoria today. Broken Hill's minimum and maximum temperatures were both around 13° above normal. A rainband held temperatures down across most of Victoria during the day and gave fairly general falls of 10 to 30mm. The cloud/rainband formed ahead of a small weakening cold front that moved north over Tasmania during daylight hours before dying in Bass Strait during the early evening.
