About Australian Weather News
Widespread fog in central and southern NSW, northern Vic
Widespread fog, thick in places, developed overnight on the NSW central and southern slopes and plains, the Riverina and northern Victoria. In some areas, it did not dissipate until after midday. Airports at Bathurst, Griffith and Narrandera were closed and planes diverted. Light winds and clear skies ahead of a strong (1033hPa) high pressure system west of Adelaide were the cause.
