Further damaging thunderstorms in SE QLD

Severe storms were reported farther north in SE QLD today. Large hail was reported at Maryborough with 15 houses and other buildings damaged while wind caused damage in the city of Rockhampton where wind gusted to 104km/h at 3.26pm.

More heavy rain from storms in VIC

Severe thunderstorms gave some heavy falls in Gippsland. Mallacoota recorded 26.6mm in the 30 minutes to 10am and Noojee 46 in 2 hours during the afternoon.
