VIC: Wilsons Prom fire spreads north

The major bushfire burning in Wilsons Promontory National Park spread north under the influence of strong S to SW winds today. In addition, spotting from the main fire created a new fire on Cape Wellington, 10km NE of the Wilsons Prom lighthouse. The fires have now consumed over 7,000ha (70 sq km) of the park.
