TAS, VIC: Wintry front brings snow, gales

The front that gave heavy rain to the SW half of TAS yesterday ushered in wintry conditions to the TAS highlands with snow reported overnight down to about the 900m level. Gales were reported through the morning around the TAS coast, and for most of the day at exposed coastal locations in VIC where Wilsons Promontory recorded a top gust of 124km/h.
