NSW: Heavy coastal showers

A steady procession of heavy showers drifted across the NSW coast from the Hunter south to around Ulladulla overnight and today. The heaviest gaugings to 9am were on or close to the coast and included Jervis Bay 82.6mm, Ulladulla 76.6, Norah Head 74.4, Wyong 74.0, Cronulla South 60.8 and Newcastle Nobbys 54.6. Williamtown RAAF, north of Newcastle, reported 34.8mm in 30 minutes to 3am in one downpour.
